Year 4 Busy Recording Their Next Big Hit!

Today Year 4 put on their best singing voices and recorded an Egyptian-themed song that they wrote with the help of Mr Watts. The song, called 'Mr Winter Climbs the Pyramid', was performed by the entire class and can be listened to by clicking on the pyramid opposite.

Reminder

Just a quick reminder to parents that all extended school clubs finish next week. The last club finishes on Friday 1st April.
Hopefully by now you should have received the new paperwork for next half term. If you want your child to join a club, return your booking forms straight away to avoid dissapointment. Clubs are on a first come, first serve basis. Please check your childs red bag for booking forms.

Year 5 - Gustav Holst Work Video Uploaded

Now up on the website is some exciting new work from Year 5. Children listened to Mars: The Bringer of War by Gustav Holst, and visually interpretted the music with jottings and rough sketches. They listened to the music several times as they visually illustrated the music.

An exciting letter arrives!

Moorhens children recently designed and made a congratulatory card for Prince William and Catherine Middleton. This was then sent to them through the post.

Not long after, Moorhens children received a letter of reply through the post!
